Safer Household Products Means No More Inhalers For My Son!
I market safer household products for people who have breathing problems and get sick a lot, like my son used to.Almost since the day he was born, whenever my son would get a cold, he'd end up in the hospital. At 4 months old, the doctor was already prescribing inhalers and drugs with steroids, and that really bothered me. When he started school, he couldn't take gym and couldn't play sports with the other kids even with his inhaler. Pretty soon the other kids started leaving him out. Then a friend, whose son also had asthma, told me she had switched to safer household products, and it really seemed to help. So, I switched, too. A month later, I took my son to his regular doctor appointment but this time I didn't fill the inhaler prescriptions because I wanted to see how the safer household products were working. A couple of months later, my son asked me if he could play flag football, and I knew something had changed. I was scared, but I let him because I had the inhaler prescriptions in my purse, just in case. After football he wanted to play basketball and soccer. I knew for sure that the safer household products were making a difference. That was spring of 2000 and he hasn't been to the hospital since. And I never did fill those inhaler prescriptions I got back then. Do you know anyone who might like to know about safer household products like that?
